| Our Introductory course is designed for those who are wanting explore chaplaincy or are wanting to volunteer in some kind of chaplaincy setting. The Course is held over 3 to 5 days. This course is conducted at Christ College from time to time and is also held in regional areas of NSW and inter-state. The date and location of the next course is to be advised. | Our professional course is designed for those wanting to be employed as chaplains or who are wanting to further develop their pastoral care skills. | We are also able to provide professional supervision to those employed in pastoral care or chaplaincy

In Australia today there are growing opportunities for Chaplaincy whether it be in Hospitals, Prisons, the defence forces, Aged care or the community. As part of our commitment to high quality Christian shaped care, we have a commitment to ensuring men and women are well equipped for this vital ministry We offer two different programmes of training to equip people for this ministry. Ian Schoonwater lecturer Ian is the Senior Chaplain with Jericho Road. He has been in full time ministry both in parishes and chaplaincy for over 20 years. He is currently a Chaplain at the Childnren’s Hospital at Westmead. |
