Training in pastoral care & chaplaincy

Jericho Road partners with Christ College in providing training for those who have a heart for people from all walks of life in chaplaincy and pastoral care ministries.

In Australia today, there are growing opportunities for chaplaincy – in hospitals, prisons, the defence forces, aged care, and amongst refugees in the community. We offer a quality Christian training program to equip those called to care for people with wisdom and love, magnifying Christ and making Him known.

Love Your Neighbour (Online)

Your capacity to engage our group on sensitive topics has been most beneficial. It has provided knowledge and valuable skills plus a deeper understanding of the plight of others. It has enhanced the confidence of members to engage in dialogue through listening and sharing their experiences.

Deidre

Love Your Neighbour (In-Person)

The course was practical as we live in a fallen world. We cannot escape sufferings. To love your neighbours is one of the greatest commands from God. We believers all ought to be able to do it.

Sue

Love Your Neighbour (Online)

The understanding and skills taught in this program benefit everyone involved in caring for others, not just those working as chaplains. It’s a practical program, grounded in research, providing opportunities to discuss and explore avenues to support others in their time of need.

Kerry

Introductory Pastoral Care Program

Grief, mental illness , depression are totally new topics to me and it is invaluable experience to be introduced to these topics and to learn about them.
