Will you pray with us?

The team at Jericho Road count it an immense privilege to be in a position to show God’s love to the most vulnerable in our communities. We know that to do this in a way that brings glory to God, we must continually bring our thoughts, ideas, ministries and needs before Him in prayer.

We are always keen to have people partner with us in prayer. If you would like to receive regular updates and prayer requests – for Jericho Road in general and for particular concerns such as bush fires and droughts – please complete the form below to be added to our Prayer Letter email list. And don’t forget to check out Prayermate further down the page as a way to pray with us everyday.

Send us your prayer points!

Let us know how we and people across New South Wales and the ACT Presbyterian Church can pray for you or your congregation. We love helping our church to partner in prayer with each other, particularly about justice, mercy and making Jesus known. Using the this form below send us your prayers and we will upload them into Prayermate.

Disclaimer – These prayer points will be made public to all Jericho Road Prayermate subscribers. This can include people within and outside the Presbyterian Church in NSW and the ACT. We ask that you do not include personal information (such as names) to protect the privacy of people involved. Jericho Road will review all prayer points before they are uploaded to Prayermate and we reserve the right not to include or to slightly alter your prayer points if they may breach privacy or confidentiality. We also reserve the right not to upload prayer points that are divisive or political in nature. Where we do this, the Jericho Road team will pray for you privately.

FAQ's

What is Prayermate?

Prayermate is a Christian prayer app that can be utilised by anyone who wants to develop healthy prayer habits and discipline. Once you have signed up you can subscribe to different mission organisations, different churches and create your own lists to then be prompted daily to pray for your feeds.

While Prayermate itself is not run by us, despite its colours, Jericho Road saw the opportunity for us as a denomination to be connected through daily prayer. Praying for Jericho Road ministries but also for the wider Presbyterian Church.

By subscribing to our feed, you can prayerfully support the work that we do and feel connected to other local churches around NSW and the ACT.

We get our prayer points from our ministry leaders, such as chaplaincy, the conduct protocol unit and from within Allowah. But we are also sent prayer points through our website from people all over NSW.

Yes! In fact, we encourage it! We want to really encourage the Presbyterian Church to be praying for each other, to hear from you how your church is doing and how we can be supporting you. You can do this through the prayer page on our website; there is a form for you to submit your own prayer points.

There are plenty of resources on the Prayermate website and on our own website to help you to subscribe to the Jericho Road feed. If you need further support, reach out to our team and we can help run you through it over the phone or through a zoom call.
